Getting money out is where this operator’s reputation takes its beating, so let’s do it properly. The official numbers look reasonable: SPEI bank transfers from $100 MXN (Mexican pesos), no fees, advertised at roughly 2 hours for verified accounts. The player record looks much worse. Trustpilot sits at 1.5/5 across roughly 230 reviews, and the bulk of those complaints are about exactly this topic.
Both things can be true, and on this page I try to hold them together. Withdrawals only here; deposits live in the payments guide, and the licence question in Is Caliente Legit?.
Three ways out
The payout rails are narrower than the deposit menu, and cards aren’t on it at all. SPEI is the default; everything else is situational:
| Method | Minimum | Official speed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| SPEI bank transfer | $100 MXN | ~2 hours (verified accounts); up to 10 business hours unverified | Free; needs your CLABE; the main rail |
| OXXO cash pickup | $220 MXN | Not precisely stated | Only “if enabled on your account” - selective, not universal |
| Branch cash | None stated | Instant at the counter | Any of the 70 authorized branches |
| Visa card | n/a | n/a | Deposits only; card withdrawals aren’t offered |
| Crypto / PayPal | n/a | n/a | Not available in either direction |
Same-name and same-method rules apply: the CLABE has to belong to you, and support can ask you to withdraw back to the route you deposited from.
Branch cash is the sleeper option here. If you live near one of the 70 authorized Race & Sports Book locations, walking out with pesos in hand beats any processing queue, and it’s the only truly instant route on the list. City coverage is uneven, though; check the branch table on the official deposit page before counting on it.
KYC first. No exceptions.
You cannot withdraw a single peso before verification. The checklist is an INE, passport or FM2/FM3 document plus proof of address no older than four months, and sometimes a selfie holding the document. Verification also triggers automatically once cumulative deposits pass $27,000 MXN, whether you’ve asked to withdraw or not.
Do it on day one.
I mean that practically: the difference between “verified account, ~2 hour SPEI” and “unverified, up to 10 business hours plus a document review” is the difference between getting paid before dinner and refreshing your inbox for a week. Several of the angriest Trustpilot reviews describe starting KYC only after requesting a payout, which is the slowest possible order of operations.

How to cash out, step by step
- Complete verification if you haven’t; the request screen won’t process anything until the account shows verified status.
- Open the cashier, switch to the withdrawal tab and pick SPEI (or OXXO cash, if your account shows it).
- Enter your 18-digit CLABE. It has to be an account in your own name; a mismatch is the classic silent-rejection cause.
- Enter an amount of $100 MXN or more and confirm. The request goes to pending.
- Watch your email. If documents get re-requested, respond quickly; the clock effectively pauses until you do.
The whole flow took me under two minutes once verified. The waiting is the only hard part.
Advertised vs reported
Here’s the gap, laid out side by side. The left column is what the official help pages say; the middle is the recurring pattern in player reviews; the right is my reading after testing the site myself from August 1 to 5, 2026:
| Scenario | Official line | What players report | My take |
|---|---|---|---|
| SPEI, verified account | ~2 hours | Days to weeks in the worst cases | My two tests came in at 3h 12m and 1h 58m - close to spec |
| SPEI, unverified | Up to 10 business hours | Stuck pending until documents clear | Believable; verify first |
| “Verified” status | One-time process | Repeated re-requests for the same documents | The most credible complaint pattern; plan for it |
| Account access | Not addressed | Accounts limited while deposits still accepted | Couldn’t verify either way; flagged as unresolved |
| Large / VIP payouts | Win caps $80,000 USD single / $200,000 USD parlay | Payout denial complaints | Varies; the caps themselves are real T&C, §13.2 |
Some context before you panic. Trustpilot skews negative for every gambling operator, and ~230 reviews is a small sample against a customer base this large. Casino Guru, which weighs terms and licensing rather than raw sentiment, puts Caliente at 6.6/10, above average. But the volume and consistency of the withdrawal-delay pattern is higher here than at comparable licensed brands, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
My test withdrawals
I ran two SPEI withdrawals from a verified account during the review window. The first, $500 MXN requested at 10:14 on August 3, landed in my bank at 13:26 - 3 hours 12 minutes, a bit over the advertised two. The second, $300 MXN on August 5, took 1 hour 58 minutes.
Two data points, small amounts, fresh account. I’d hedge hard before projecting that onto a $50,000 MXN cashout, and the complaint record suggests bigger sums get more scrutiny. But at normal recreational stakes, the advertised speed held up in my sessions.
For context, that 2-3 hour window is competitive: a typical SPEI payout at rival licensed books like bet365 MX or Codere runs same-day at best, and offshore brands routinely quote 24-72 hours before their processors even move. On paper, and in my two tests, Caliente’s SPEI rail is faster than most of what I’ve timed elsewhere. The asterisk is everything in the previous section: speed only counts if the request isn’t parked behind a document review.
The real downsides
Every one of these comes from the official T&C or a verified complaint pattern, not from rival affiliate sites.
Read them before your first deposit, not your first withdrawal.
- No independent arbiter. Complaints are handled by Caliente’s own customer service; the T&C name no external ADR body.
- The re-verification loop. The most consistent player complaint: documents requested again after the account was already marked verified.
- Dormancy terms. $100 MXN per month is deducted after 180 days of inactivity, and after a further 12 months the balance can be retained until you contact support (T&C §8).
- Win caps. $80,000 USD per single bet and $200,000 USD per parlay, per T&C §13.2.
- Bonus trap. Requesting a withdrawal with an active bonus voids the bonus and its winnings; finish the rollover or write the bonus off first.
- OXXO cash-out is conditional. The help page’s “if enabled on your account” wording means you can’t count on it.
That list is why this page carries a 5.6, the lowest score I’ve given Caliente anywhere on this site, and why the deposits page scores more than a full point higher.
If you’re comfortable with those terms, visit caliente.mx and complete verification before your first bet, not after.
Withdrawal FAQ
How long do Caliente withdrawals really take?
Officially ~2 hours by SPEI for verified accounts, up to 10 business hours unverified. My two verified tests took 3h 12m and 1h 58m; some players report days or weeks, usually tangled up with document checks.
What’s the minimum withdrawal?
$100 MXN by SPEI bank transfer, $220 MXN for OXXO cash pickup where that option is enabled. SPEI withdrawals carry no fee.
Can I withdraw to my Visa card?
Not offered. Cards work for deposits only; SPEI to your own CLABE is the standard payout route, with branch cash as the offline alternative.
Why is my withdrawal stuck pending?
Nine times out of ten it’s verification: either KYC was never completed, or documents were re-requested. Check your email and the account’s verification section before contacting the 24/7 chat.
