An independent review project covering one operator, Caliente.mx, tested with real deposits since August 2026. We’re the reviewers, not the casino, and we never touch player accounts.

This site does one thing: it reviews Caliente.mx, the SEGOB-licensed Mexican casino and sportsbook, from the outside. One reviewer, real deposits in MXN (Mexican pesos), every claim checked against the live operator site during August 2026. Caliente Hub earns affiliate commission when readers sign up through its links, and every page says so.

Review site, not casino

Confusion between reviewers and operators is constant in this niche, so here’s the split in plain terms.

Editorial standards

Three rules govern everything published here. Facts come from the live site or named third parties, never from the clone domains that invent “$20,000 MXN welcome bonuses” the official promotions page doesn’t run. Cons are mandatory on every rated page, which is why our ratings span 5.6 to 7.4 instead of the breathless 9s you’ll find elsewhere. And the money is disclosed: commission funds the test bankroll, it doesn’t touch the scores.

The full process, scoring weights included, lives on the methodology page.

The reviewer

I’m Alex Donovan. More than eight years in iGaming, including three in QA at a licensed platform operator, taught me to distrust screenshots I didn’t take and numbers I didn’t measure. So I take my own: a real account, deposits over SPEI and OXXO Pay, sessions on a Samsung Galaxy S25 and an iPhone 17, withdrawals timed to the minute. When my second payout stalled for 26 hours over a document re-request, that went into the review, and so did the 1 hour 54 minute first payout. Both were true, and a fair review holds both at once.

Why one casino gets a whole site

Because the search landscape around it is a mess. The operator draws hundreds of thousands of brand searches a month in Mexico, and much of what ranks is noise: invented bonuses, contradictory permit numbers, plus routine confusion with the unrelated Agua Caliente tribal casinos in California. Here is an operator whose heritage runs back to the 1916 Agua Caliente racetrack in Tijuana, holding a verifiable SEGOB permit (DGG/SP/404/97) printed in its own footer, alongside a 1.5/5 Trustpilot score drawn from roughly 230 reviews. Few brands combine that permit pedigree with that complaint volume, which makes it genuinely worth covering properly. Both halves are real, and pretending otherwise in either direction would be the usual affiliate trick.

Legal doesn’t mean frictionless, and this site says both parts loudly.

About FAQ

Is Caliente Hub owned by Grupo Caliente?

No. There’s no corporate connection; the only relationship is an affiliate agreement through tracked links, disclosed in the footer of every page. The operator sees our reviews when you do.

Do you review other casinos?

Not here. This project covers one operator in depth, roughly 19 pages of it, on the theory that depth beats a thin directory of 200 brands nobody actually tested.

How is the site funded?

Affiliate commission from sign-ups through our links. That funds the MXN test bankroll and the time; scores and cons are written before any commercial consideration, and the low ones stay published.
